Condenser Pressure

The pressure for the condenser (tray one) is entered in this data field. The condenser pressure may also be provided with the Tray by Tray Pressure Specification option as the pressure for tray number one.

When the condenser pressure is not given for a column and the Overall Pressure Specification is used to define the pressures, the condenser pressure defaults to the pressure given for the column top (tray two).

Alternatively, the condenser pressure may be referenced using the Define system relative to any available unit operation or stream parameter calculated elsewhere in the simulation. See Column Parameters Available for Cross-Referencing for more details.
