Condenser Duty

The condenser duty may be provided in this field in the units provided or in different units by using the Unit-Of-Measure Selection Window, which is displayed when the UOM button on the Toolbar is pushed. For columns in which the condenser duty is computed to satisfy a performance specification, any value supplied is used as an estimate.

Alternately, the condenser duty may be referenced using the Define system relative to any available unit operation or stream parameter calculated elsewhere in the simulation. See Column Parameters Available for Cross-Referencing for more details.

Additional Information

For most columns in which the condenser duty is computed to meet a performance specification, it is not necessary to provide an estimated value.
