Use this window to define how the structure of a polymer component is made up from the defined polymer segments.
Usage
In the Polymer Components table on the Definition of Polymer Components Window, enter a Component Name and Average Molecular Weight and then push the Enter Data button for Segment Composition.
Basis
The composition may be defined as either the Weight Fraction or the Mole Fraction of the segments. Select the required basis from the drop-down list.
Value
Select each polymer segment which makes up the component from the Segment drop-down lists. You must have already defined the segment structures in the Define Van Krevelen Structures Window and the Define UNIFAC Structures Window. Then enter the Value for the weight or mole fraction of each segment in the polymer component. Values will be normalized if they do not sum to 1.0. You must select at least one segment for the component.
