Batch Distillation - Component Selection
Use this window to select components for global stop criteria, start and stop criteria, and dynamic controllers within the policy segments.
Usage
The window is used to define the range of components for an Amount or a Purity condition for starting or stopping a policy segment, or specifying a dynamic controller within a policy segment.
For Purity, select a Starting Component from the drop down list of component names. By default, the Ending Component is the same as the Starting Component. If desired, select a different Ending Component from the drop down list.
For Amount, the default Starting Component and Ending Component are pre-selected as the first and last components. (i.e., all components are included in the default case.)
How to get to this window
The Batch Distillation - Component Selection window is accessed by pressing the Component Selection... button on the Batch Distillation - Additional Global Stop Criterion window or on the data entry windows for Start Conditions, Control Specification or Run Until Conditions.
