Henry’s Constant Data Window

Use this window to enter the Henry's Law data for a selected solute in various solvents. Note: PRO/II supports the use of Henry’s Law only when using a Liquid Activity Method.

Usage

From the Thermodynamic Data - Henry’s Law Window, push the Enter Data button by the required solute component.

The data are supplied as the four coefficients for the equation of Henry’s Constant as a function of temperature and pressure.

Solvent

Select the required solvent component from the drop down list at the top of the table. Selecting the solvent makes the rest of the column available.

C1, C2, C3, C4

Enter the required values for the equation coefficients. Leaving any coefficient as zero omits that term from the equation.

Pressure UOM

Click on the text to open the Units of Measure window where you may specify the required pressure units for the equation.

Temperature UOM

Click on the text to open the Units of Measure window where you may specify the required temperature units for the equation.

See Editing Tabular Data for more information on the entry and editing of tabular data.
