Generate Report Command

Generate Report Command (Output Menu)

Select this command to generate the output report for a simulation which has solved. The output report will be stored in a file with a .OUT extension. You can specify the format in which the report has to be generated by selecting the Output\Report Format command.

To view an existing output report file, select File/Open command and select the desired report file. To display a previously-generated report for the current simulation you can also select Output/View Report command.

Usage

When the Generate Reports command is selected, a message is displayed informing you that the report is being generated. The message disappears once the generation is completed and the output report is displayed using the default editor.

If the input data for the simulation is changed after the simulation has finished executing, a warning message will be displayed informing you that the output report may not be consistent with the input data.

A report can also be generated by pressing the $image\PFD28.gif$ button on the toolbar.

Case Study Data

If your simulation has Case Study Data, you will be asked to choose which report you want to generate. You may select from:
