View Report Command

View Report (Output Menu)

Select this command to display a previously-generated report for the current simulation. The default editor is used to display the report. A report can also be displayed by pressing the $image\PFD27.gif$ button on the toolbar.

The default editor can be selected using the Options/Editor menu item.

To view previously-generated reports for other simulations, select File\Open command.

If the user executes Run Simulation without generating an output report and wants to view the Text Report, he or she will be warned and given an opportunity to generate a .out file that is synchronized with the simulation.

On View Text Report, if PRO/II determines that a Generate Report was executed since the last run, then the report is brought up with the default editor.
On View Text Report, if Generate Report was not run but there is no .out file, then PRO/II will give a message that “No Output Report has been generated….”
On View Text Report, if Generate Report was not run but there is a .out file, then the following message will appear:

“The output report is not current with the last Run. Would you like to generate a new report or view the old report? [New/Old/Cancel]”.
