Extent of Reaction
Use this window to define the approach to equilibrium for the reaction. The default is complete equilibrium.
Usage
Global Temperature Approach
The global temperature approach is neglected if a non-zero temperature approach is specified for any of the specified reactions. Enter the value for the temperature approach to equilibrium.
Global Component Constraints
The table contains a list of all the components which are included in the reaction in the Reacting Components Window. If no components have been excluded in the Reacting Component window, all components selected in the Component Selection Window are included in the table.
The conversion of any components or the rates of the components in the reaction product may be specified. Either Conversion or rate can be specified for an individual component.
Individual Reactions button
This button is only available if a reaction set has been selected on the Gibbs Reactor Main Window. Press the button to impose approaches or constraints on individual reactions.
How to get to this window
The Gibbs Reactor - Extent of Reaction window is accessed by pressing the Extent of Reaction button on the Gibbs Reactor Main Window.
