Use this window to supply the particle size distribution for components which have been declared as Solid components in the Component Phase Selection Window.
Usage
From the Component Properties Main Window, push the Particle Size Distribution button.
You may define the size intervals for each grouping of particles for any Solid component in the simulation. First select the required Component from the drop-down list. Then supply the beginning and end points for each Distribution Range. At least two points are required.
For example, the first interval could be all particles between 0.0 and 0.02 mm, the second between 0.02 and 0.10 mm, etc. The actual fraction of each solid component which will be distributed to the corresponding interval is specified in the Stream Data - Particle Size Distribution Window. Components with Particle Size Distribution attributes may be either Molecular or Non-molecular Components.
More than two intervals may be specified using the Insert tool on the table. See Editing Tabular Data for further information on tabular data entry.
