Batch Reactor Print Options

Use this window to specify output reports to be generated during the calculation. As the calculation is transient, data cannot be stored for every possible time during the calculation. Hence, reports must be specified before the simulation in order to save the necessary data.

Usage

Policy History

Select the level of detail in reporting the progress of the batch reaction. The options are:

Partial: reports general unit operation parameters, flowsheet connectivity, when policy segments and actions start, and some aspect of time-variant parameters.

Complete: additional time-variant parameter reports.

Starting Time and Frequency

Select the starting time and frequency of printouts.

Component Profiles

Select the level of detail in reporting component data during the batch reaction. The options are:

No Components: report no compositions.

All Components: report compositions of all reactant and product components

Selected Components: report compositions of a selection of components. Select the components in the Selected Components table below.

Selected Component

Select the components for which compositions are to be printed during the reaction. Each row of the table can be used to define a separate component. The component should be a reactant or product constituent of one of the defined reactions.

See Editing Tabular Data for more information on the entry and editing of tabular data.

Basis

Select the basis for the composition print out.

Note: For reporting purposes only, components are arranged and reported in order of increasing volatility. This may differ from the order in which the components were entered during construction of the simulation.
