"Start When" Component Specification
Use this window to select components and enter amount or fraction or percent values for policy segment start conditions.
Usage
You may enter either an amount or a percent or a fraction for ranges of components. An amount may be a molar, mass or liquid volume quantity. Percent and Fraction are expressed on a molar or mass basis.
The information makes up a criterion for starting policy segment calculations.
Select a Starting Component from the drop down list of component names. By default, the Ending Component is the same as the Starting Component. You may select a different Ending Component from the drop down list. It is not necessary to specify all components.
The Amount or Percent or Fraction value must be entered for each component range. All amounts must be entered in the same units of measurement. All percents/fractions must be on the same basis.
Select the Satisfy basis. By default, the criterion is satisfied when any of the component ranges defined in the table reaches the specified amount or percent or fraction. You may change this to all.

How to get to this window
The Start When Component Specification window is accessed by selecting Amount or Percent or Fraction in the Policy Segment Start When Window and pressing the Enter Data... button.
