Thermodynamics - User Formula Data Entry

This window allows you to enter data for a User-Formula stream mixing method for a refinery inspection property or for a user-defined special property. Different data may be entered for the property in each thermodynamic system in the simulation. In order to use this method, you must have already linked your user-added subroutine into PRO/II in order to calculate the formula.

All data items in this window are optional.

Usage

From the Thermodynamics - Main Window, select (highlight) the system for which modifications are to be made in the Defined Systems list box.

Push the Modify button to transfer to the Thermodynamic Data - Modification Window and press the Refinery Inspection Properties or User-Defined Special Properties button as appropriate to open the Thermodynamic Method Selection for Refinery Inspection Properties Window or the Thermodynamic Method Selection for User-Defined Special Properties Window.

Select the User-Formula stream mixing method for the required property and press the Enter Data button to open this window.

Check the Supply ... data for Thermodynamic System ... box to confirm that you want to enter data and to enable the rest of this window.

There are two types of data which may be entered:

Component Data

Property values may be entered for any of the components in the simulation. The meaning of these data is determined by what you use them for in your calculation subroutine.

Real and Integer Data

These tables allow you to pass up to twenty real and integer values to your calculation subroutine. Again, the meaning of the data is determined by the calculation subroutine. Enter the element numbers for each required item in the data array and then enter the corresponding values.
