Solid Solubilities Constant Data

Use this window to enter the User-Supplied Solubility data for a selected solute in various solvents.

Usage

From the Thermodynamic Data - Solid Solubilities Window, push the Enter Data button by the required solute component.

The data are supplied as the three coefficients for the equation of equilibrium solubility as a function of temperature.

Solvent

Select the required solvent component from the drop down list at the top of the table. Selecting the solvent makes the rest of the column available.

C1, C2, C3

Enter the required values for the equation coefficients. Leaving any coefficient as zero omits that term from the equation.

Temperature Range

Enter the valid range for the equation coefficients by specifying the Minimum Temperature and the Maximum Temperature.

Temperature UOM

Click on the text to open the Units of Measure window where you may specify that the temperature units for the equation should be K or R.

See Editing Tabular Data for more information on the entry and editing of tabular data.
