Binary Parameters from Infinite Dilution Activity

This window is used to enter infinite dilution activity coefficient data for binary pairs from which interaction parameters may be derived for the specified Liquid Activity Method. In Data Regression, these derived interaction parameters may be used as initial estimates for the regression.

Usage

From the Thermodynamics - Binary Interaction Parameters Window, push the Infinite Dilution Activity button.

In data regression, push the Enter Data button for Binary Infinite Dilution Data in the Data Regression Initial Estimates Window.

Check the box to specify that infinite dilution activity coefficient data will be supplied.

Components

Select the i and j components from the drop down list. Selecting the components makes the rest of the column available.

Temperature

Enter the temperature, in the units specified in the Temperature UOM, at which the infinite dilution activity coefficient data for this binary pair were measured.

Coefficients

Enter the infinite dilution activity coefficient for each component at the specified temperature.

See Editing Tabular Data for more information on the entry and editing of tabular data.
