Component Properties - Correlation Selection Window

Use this window to enter coefficients of a correlation for temperature dependent component properties. You may also view data and plot it over a temperature range.

The phase, property name and component name are displayed on the window.

Usage

Select a correlation from the Correlation Number list. The selected correlation is displayed in the window. A full list of available correlations is in the PRO/II Reference Manual.

You may change the defaulted units of measurement for temperature and for the property in the Units of Correlation box.

If the form of the equation is logarithmic, you may select the base of the logarithm by selecting a radio button in the Logarithm Type box.

You may enter a Minimum Temperature and a Maximum Temperature to define the range of applicability.

You may enter up to ten coefficients in the fields C1 to C10 as well as an Exponential Factor. Only the fields relevant for the selected correlation are available.

Clear Data

Pushing this button removes all data from the window including the Correlation Number. This is useful when viewing different data.

Restore Default

This button resets all data in the window to the default component library values - i.e. the values shown when the window opened. Pressing Cancel will also restore the library defaults.

View Curve

Push this button to open the View Correlation Curve Window where you specify the type of curve required and then open the Plot Viewer.

How to get to this window
