SimSci Add-on Unit Operations -- Data Entry
Entering Data
Data are supplied to the SimSci Add-on Unit Operations via the optional and/or required data entry fields shown in the four data tables. For those unit operations where it is appropriate, you are allowed to select the desired thermodynamic method.
The variables in the Real Data Table are also available to other unit operations by means of SPECs, VARYs and DEFINEs. The data in the other tables is used solely by the SimSci Add-on Unit Operations.
Thermodynamic Methods
If applicable, you are allowed to specify which thermodynamic method is to be used for the calculations. See Thermodynamic System for more information.
Reorder Streams button
If the User-added Unit Operation has more than one feed or product, they will be shown in the order in which they were laid down on the Process Flow Diagram. You may need to reorder the streams so that they are in the correct order for the selected SimSci Add-on Unit Operation.
Push the button to display the SimSci Add-on Unit Operation - Stream Reordering Window where you can change the stream order.
