Intermediate Printout (Input menu)

The intermediate output contains results that were obtained during intermediate stages of the calculation. This includes the calculation history which contains the information details about the iterations that were performed to achieve convergence in recycle and controller loops.

Usage

From the Input menu, select the "Intermediate Printout" command. From the Intermediate Printout Window, select from the following options:

Report CPU time used for each unit operation

The hard copy contains the CPU time required for each unit operation.

Create detailed calculation path history report

This option prints the full report of the calculation path, which appears on the screen when PRO/II is executed. If omitted, only a partial trace is produced. This information is useful for viewing intermediate results, and in determining whether the iterative calculations are converging and if additional iterations will help achieve a specified tolerance.

Selecting this option prints out the calculation history, where all the iterative calculations appear one after the other.

Show Calculation History

This option prints the calculation history. If unselected, calculation history will not be printed. The history file will be produced separately always.
