Gibbs Reactor Data
Use this window to specify Gibbs reactor options and limits.
Usage
Maximum Iterations
Specify the maximum number of iterations allowed for the calculation.
Convergence Tolerance
Specify the relative convergence tolerance for the calculation.
Fibonacci Tolerance
Specify the tolerance used to converge the Fibonacci search calculation.
Duty Tolerance
Specify the relative convergence tolerance for reactor duty calculation.
Phase Split Parameters button
This button is only available if the Reactor Operation Phase is specified as Calculated on the Unit Reaction Definitions Window. Push the button to display the Phase Split Parameters Window where you define the phase split parameters.
Reacting Components and Estimates button
Push the button to display the Reacting Components Window where you limit the components which react and supply optional flow estimates.
User Specified Atomic Groups button
Push the button to display the Atomic Groups Window where you define the component constituent groups.
Temperatures
An initial outlet temperature and the minimum and maximum temperatures allowed for the reactor calculations may be entered when the Fixed Duty thermal specification is selected on the Gibbs Reactor Main Window.
Physical Property Option
Properties are normally evaluated at each step. To reduce the calculation time, values from previous iterations may be used.
How to get to this window
The Gibbs Reactor Data window is accessed by pressing the Reactor Data button on the Gibbs Reactor Main Window.
