Databank components are components for which all necessary data are provided in a databank (or library), either SimSci supplied or user supplied. The SimSci databanks contain pure component data for more than 1750 components, which is adequate for most simulations. Users may also prepare special component databanks, e.g., company proprietary data, and use them in conjunction with (or instead of) the SimSci databanks.
Databank components are retrieved by their library name(s). The SimSci databanks provide several library names for each component. It is also possible to supply multiple library names for components in user prepared databanks. User databanks may be prepared using Thermo Data Manager programs.
