Use this window to specify the catalyst for the Boiling Pot reaction model in a reactive distillation unit. The Boiling Pot CSTR cannot be used to model two phase reactors. However, a Single Tray Column may be used for these types of reactor.
This window is only available if the catalyst components have been allocated a zero stoichiometric coefficient in the Reaction Data - Reaction Components Window and the reaction order has been set to one in the Reaction Data - Reaction Order and Activity Phase Window or in the Column Reaction Order and Activity Phase Window. This window is then accessed by pressing the Non-Volatile Catalyst button on the Column Reaction Selection Window.
Select the required catalyst component from the drop down list. Only a single catalyst component is allowed.
The amount of the catalyst components may be specified as the mole or weight fraction of the liquid in the reactor or as the actual molar or weight quantity.
