Assay Gravity Data
Assay gravity curve data may be supplied which correspond to the type of gravity and distillation basis selected in the Stream Assay Definition Window. Gravity curve data are always optional. When the gravity curve is not supplied, PRO/II generates the curve using the method selected in the Assay Characterization Options Window.
Usage
From the Stream Data Window, select Petroleum Assay option and push the Flowrate and Assay button to display the Petroleum Assay Stream Window. From this window, push the Define/Edit Assay button to display the Stream Assay Definition Window. Finally, push the Gravity Curve button to display this window to supply the gravity curve data.
First check the option to explicitly supply the Gravity Curve data
Enter the percents distilled (the mid-volume or the mid-weight percent of the data point) and corresponding gravity values in the table provided. The percents must be on the basis chosen for the distillation data - either liquid volume or weight percent. The gravity values correspond to the gravity type selected - API gravity, specific gravity, or Watson K Factor. At least three gravity points must be supplied to define the gravity curve. To add or delete rows from the gravity table, use the Cut and Insert buttons. See Editing Tabular Data for more information.
The supplied gravity or Watson K-factor curve is adjusted by PRO/II such that the stream average value is met.
