Surface Tension Methods

The vapor-liquid surface tension calculation method may be selected with the drop down list box. Options for liquids include:

None

No surface tensions are computed.

Pure Component Average

Surface tensions are computed by appropriate averaging of the pure component values from the library.

Petroleum Correlation

Surface tensions are computed using generalized methods for hydrocarbons - not available with Electrolyte Models.

Parachor

Surface Tensions are computed by Parachor method.

User-added Methods

This option specifies that liquid Surface Tensions will be calculated with a User-added subroutine (UTRAN1 - UTRAN5) that has been linked into PRO/II.
