Splitter Pressure Specification
The splitter provides two options for specifying its operating pressure. This pressure is identical for all the product streams and can be specified as follows:
Pressure Drop : Decrease in outlet pressure over the combined feed pressure. Negative values indicate a pressure increase. The default value is zero.
Outlet Pressure : The pressure of the product streams leaving the splitter.
Usage
Select one of the pressure specification choices and enter its value in the corresponding data entry field. You may change the dimensional unit of pressure using the Unit-Of-Measure Selection Window, which is displayed when the UOM button is pushed.
Alternatively, instead of entering a value for the selected parameter, the numeric value may be referenced using the Define system relative to any available unit operation or stream parameter calculated elsewhere in the simulation.
