Special Packages

The special packages are industry specific thermodynamic methods which have been developed from experimental and test data. The ranges of applicability are generally limited to the range of the data used in their development and they should not be used outside these ranges without extreme caution. The following special packages are available:

GLYCOL (GLYCOL)

K-values, enthalpies, entropies, vapor densities: SRKM method

Liquid densities: API method

SOUR (SOUR)

K-values: Sour method

Liquid enthalpies: Ideal method

Vapor enthalpies, entropies, vapor densities: SRKM method

Liquid densities: Ideal method

GPA Sour Water (GPSWATER)

K-values: GPA Sour water method

Liquid enthalpies: Ideal method

Vapor enthalpies, entropies, vapor densities: SRKM method

Liquid densities: Ideal method

Amine (AMINE)

K-values: Amine method

Liquid enthalpies: Amine method

Vapor enthalpies, entropies, vapor densities: SRKM method

Liquid densities: Ideal method

Alcohol (ALCOHOL)

K-values: Alcohol method

Liquid enthalpies: Ideal method

Vapor enthalpies, entropies, vapor densities: SRKM method

Liquid densities: Ideal method

Additional Information

Descriptions of the individual thermodynamic methods may be accessed from the Thermodynamic System - Modification Window by selecting the type of property, i.e., K-value, liquid enthalpy, etc., the method and pushing the Help button. More detailed information can be found in the PRO/II Reference Manual under the topic Special Packages.
