Run Simulation
Execution of simulation calculations and
performing output calculations begins when the Run
button (
) on the Express/Run menu is
pushed. The point on the flowsheet where calculations begin depends upon
the state of the flowsheet when the Run button is pushed. A simulation
may be run by pressing the Run Simulation
button on the Run menu or by pressing F9.
1. For a fresh execution of the simulation, without any unit selected as a "Goto" unit, execution starts at the beginning of the calculation sequence.
2. If the simulation has been run but the calculations were interrupted, either at a Breakpoint location or by pushing the Pause button, execution starts at the unit operation where the calculations were interrupted.
3. If a unit operation has been designated as a "Goto" unit, execution will start at that unit in the calculation sequence.
Run Simulation + Generate Output Report:
“Run Simulation + Generate output report"
(
) will automatically generate the text output report
after performing output calculations for streams and unit operations.
