Object Linking and Embedding (OLE)

The OLE embedding features allow you to include information created by other applications in your simulation. Embedding means inserting information such as formatted text, a bitmap image, or spreadsheet data into a simulation flowsheet. Once embedded, the information becomes part of the flowsheet. When you double-click an embedded object, you open the application in which the object was originally created; the object is displayed and ready for editing. When you return to PRO/II with PROVISION, the flowsheet reflects any changes you've made to the object. You can embed an existing object, file, or selection, or you can create and embed a new object.

You can embed an object using the Insert Object Command command, the Paste Command command, or the Drag and Drop feature.
