Nominal Pipe Sizes
This window is used to supply a set of nominal pipe sizes and schedule numbers to be used in a line sizing calculation. PRO/II selects the best available pipe size from this list that meets the required minimum outlet pressure or the maximum pressure drop. See Pipe Line Sizing for more details.
Usage
To display this window, select the line sizing option and push the Line Sizing Data button from the Pipe Main Window. Select the nominal pipe sizes option from the "Pipe Line Sizing" window and then push the Enter Data button.
Pipe Size Table
Select the desired nominal pipe sizes from the drop-down list boxes in the first column of the table. For a selected size, PRO/II provides a default pipe schedule number (which is 40 in most cases). You may override this default and select the desired schedule number from the second column.
To erase all of previously selected line sizes and schedules, push the Clear All button at the bottom of the table. To erase a single entry, first select the desired row and push the Reset button. Note that at least one size entry is required to perform a line size calculation.
