Export Command (File menu)

Use this command to export simulation and graphical data to files from the currently open simulation.

Selecting this command (from the File menu or by pressing Alt + F, E) displays the "File Export" dialog window. Available options allow you to export the following:

image\EDIT03.gif PRO/II Simulation data including Streams and Column profiles from solution to a keyword (ASCII) file.

image\EDIT03.gif Stream Property Table data to a spreadsheet-compatible file.

image\EDIT03.gif Flowsheet drawing or a selected page of the flowsheet drawing to the Clipboard, an Autocad .DXF file, an Autocad DesignXML file.

image\EDIT03.gif "Tag" data to a tag data file (suffixed ".raw").

See Export Dialog Window for usage details.

Note: In the previous versions, PFD layout was retained within the *.prz file. In the current version, *.sfd file will be generated, when a simulation (PFD) is saved and exported. After the generation of *.sfd file, users can restore the PFD layout using *.inp file.

Exporting Plot Data

You can also export plot data to other spreadsheet applications. You can do this from the Plot window by selecting the Output\Generate Plot command. From this window, open the desired plot and select the File\Export command. See Plot Overview for more details.
