Assay Default Cutpoint Set

The Primary set is initially selected by PRO/II as the default cutpoint set to use for streams for which a cutpoint set is not specified. The primary set may be modified, but never deleted from the problem.

After one or more secondary sets have been added to the problem, the Default Cutpoint Set may be changed with a drop down list box to be any of the problem cutpoint sets. When supplying an assay stream, you may select the primary set, default set, any secondary set, or create a new secondary set which uses the Primary Set Defaults. See Assay Stream Cutpoint Set Selection for further details.

This flexibility allows you to use multiple cut point sets as needed to group similar refinery stocks. The Default Cutpoint Set may be defined as the most commonly used set for convenience.
