Convergence History

This window is used to request intermediate printed results for column calculations. These results are useful for diagnosing column failures.

Usage

From the Column Main Window push the Convergence Data button.

From the Convergence Data Window push the Convergence History button. Select the desired options using the drop-down list boxes.

Convergence History Print Level

None : No convergence history information.

Partial : Brief report for all iterations which includes the error sums for the convergence criteria.

Estimate : Column profile report for initial estimated solution followed by the Partial report for all iterations.

All : Column profile report for initial estimated solution and all iterations.

Print Column Profiles in Keyword Input File Format:

None : No column profiles are printed.

Initial : The initially estimated column profiles are printed in PRO/II keyword input format. Profiles include the tray temperatures, net liquid flows, net vapor flows, liquid compositions, and vapor compositions.

Final : The column profiles described above are printed in PRO/II keyword input format for the converged column solution.

All : Both the initial column profiles and converged solution profiles are printed in PRO/II keyword input format.

RATEFRAC Initial Estimate Print Level:

None : RATEFRAC Initial Estimate will not be printed.

Partial : Brief report of RATEFRAC Initial Estimate will be printed.

All : Detailed report of RATEFRAC Initial Estimate will be printed.
