The Case Study facility in PRO/II has been extended and is now based on a more flexible sensitivity analysis type of structure using Parameters and Results. Refer to Case Study Overview for a description of Case Study and the meanings of terms used.
This new implementation includes all the capabilities of the original, which used CHANGE statements, plus additional features. Because of this restructuring, the concept of multiple Case Studies is no longer required. However, so that old files will still run, multiple CASESTUDY sections are still allowed and CHANGE statements are still accepted by Keyword versions of PRO/II.
The change in implementation of Case Study will affect you:
When you import a keyword file or open a simulation that has been created by a keyword run of PRO/II, the following will happen:
all CHANGE statements will be ignored. They will not cause the importation to fail.
only one Case will be accepted. You will be asked to select which Case you want to be included in the simulation.
You are recommended to review your Keyword file to make sure that you will not lose any important Case Study data and to change the keyword file as necessary.
