Use this window to define the equilibrium equation data for the selected reaction in a reactive distillation unit. Data entered here override any data entered in the in the Reaction Data - Reaction Equilibrium Data Window for this unit operation only.
To open this window from the Column Reaction Definitions Window, select the Equilibrium option for the Reaction Type and press the Enter Data button for the required reaction.
The equation and the names of the Reaction Set and Reaction are presented for information.
The equilibrium constant equation is shown for information. You must enter at least one of the eight Equilibrium Coefficients for the equation.
The temperature, weight, volume and pressure units defined in the Reaction Data - Reaction Equilibrium Data Window for the equilibrium constant equation are displayed as defaults. You may define different units to match your data by clicking on the highlighted text.
The defaults shown for the Default Phase and the Activity Basis are the selections in the Reaction Data - Reaction Equilibrium Data Window. You may change the options by selecting from the drop down lists.
To override the default activity exponent or activity phase for individual components, press the Activity Exponent & Activity Phase button which opens the Column Activity Exponent and Activity Phase Window.
