This window is used to convergence parameters specific to the Reactive Distillation calculations.
From the Column Main Window push the Convergence Data button. From the Convergence Data Window push the Reactive Distillation button.
When equilibrium or kinetic reactions are present, some reaction products may not be initially present in the feed streams or the amount of these components may increase significantly as the reactions progress. The Initial Estimate Generator neglects the contribution of reaction products when estimating the initial phase state. The reactive distillation algorithm contains logic to introduce reaction products gradually, to ensure smooth convergence.
The Initial Error Multiplier is applied to the equilibrium constant and increased to 1.0 over the specified Number of Iterations.
