Use this window to select components for Purity conditions (and for some Amount specifications) in several types of policy segments.
Access
Right-click a BATCHFRAC unit operation icon on the main PRO/II simulation window to open the Action menu.
Choose Data Entry... to open the main BATCHFRAC data entry window.
Click the Enter Data... button of a segment in the Overall Operating Policy list box. This opens a Policy Segment data entry window.
In the Policy Segment window that opens, locate a Purity or Amount specification. Find these by looking in the Description field in the Action/Condition list. (Not all Amount criteria support component selection).
Left-click the Purity or Amount entry in the Description field. This opens a Policy Segment input window that should have an active Amount or Purity criterion. If component selection is allowed, the Component Selection... button will be available.
Press the Component Selection... button to open a Component Selection data entry window.
Usage
The window is used to define the range of components for an Amount or a Purity condition for starting or stopping a policy segment, or specifying a dynamic controller within a policy segment.
For Purity, select a Starting Component from the drop down list of component names. By default, the Ending Component is the same as the Starting Component. If desired, select a different Ending Component from the drop down list.
For Amount, the default Starting Component and Ending Component are pre-selected as the first and last components. (i.e., all components are included in the default case.)
See Editing Tabular Data for more information on the entry and editing of tabular data.
