Language

PRO/II supports English, Japanese, Chinese (simplified), Russian, and Spanish (Mexico) languages for Menus and Messages.

The following features will display their content using the selected language:

1. Main Menu

2. Right-click menus   -  Right-clicking a flowsheet icon usually opens an action menu that now lists the available commands in the chosen language

3. Messages window  -  Messages generated during execution and at other times

4. Import messages    -   Messages generated when importing a keyword input file

5. Output report          -  Messages in the report (*.OUT) file

6. Status window        -  Accessed from the Run toolbar or the View menu

Users may switch the language at any time. The only requirement is that the computer running PRO/II should have installed fonts for the selected language. When no choice is selected, English is used by default. For non-English languages, install the corresponding language support. It can be found in Control Panel/Regional Language Options in the Languages tab.

Usage

To specify the language used for display:

• Navigate to the Options menu and select Language to open the selection dialog box.

• Select the desired language from the listed choices

Note: Switching between non-English languages is not supported.
