Water Partial Pressure Calculation Methods
Water Property Calculation Method : This method is used to calculate the water partial pressure by using the ASME steam tables.
Sweet Gas–GPSA Data Book Values : This method is used to calculate the Sweet Gas-GSPA Data Book values by using Chart 20-4 in the 12th edition of GPSA Data Book. The GPSA Data Book option is recommended for natural gas mixtures above 2000 psia.
Sour Gas–Wichert Correlation: This method is based on the article, “New charts provide accurate estimations for water content of sour natural gas" by Gordon C. Wichert and Edward Wichert from the Oil and Gas Journal, dated October 27, 2003. This is recommended for low pressure.
