Stream Sequence
The Stream Sequence section is used to select the streams which will be referenced in the Procedure section of the calculator. The stream from which a parameter is referenced or into which a result is stored must first be selected in this section. Also, if there is a DO loop in the procedure section which iterates through a number of streams, the stream ordering must be defined in this section.
Usage
To select the stream sequence, first push the Edit/View Declarations button if the View Area is not visible. Then push the Stream Sequence... button in the View Area to display the two stream lists.
The Available Streams list contains all the streams that have been drawn in the flowsheet. Select the streams you wish to refer, or through which you wish to iterate in a DO loop and move them to the Selected Streams list box. This can be done using the List Transfer Buttons (Add, Insert Before, Insert After). To remove a stream from the Selected Streams list use the Remove button.
The number of streams that can be selected is given by the Maximum Number of Streams data entry field, which can be changed if desired. The default number is 10.
