Sizing Windows

You may make a window smaller in order to view more than one window at a time, or larger in order to see its contents more clearly.

 

Changing window size with the mouse

A window may be expanded to its maximum size by pressing the Maximize Button on its title bar. It is restored to its original size by pressing the Restore Button.

 

The window may be reduced to an icon by pressing the Minimize Button. It is restored by double clicking on the icon.

 

The size of the window may be changed by pointing to the border you wish to move. When the double headed arrow (image\DBLARROW.gif) appears, hold down the mouse button and drag the border to the required position.

 

Changing window size with the keyboard

Open the Control menu by pressing Alt+HYPHEN for a view window or ALT+SPACEBAR for the Main Window and select the Size command. The mouse pointer will change to a four-headed arrow (image\FOURARRW.gif). Use the a direction arrow key to indicate which border you wish to move. For example, press the Right arrow if you want to move the right border.

 

The mouse pointer will change to a double headed arrow (image\DBLARROW.gif) and you can move it with the direction arrow keys. To abandon the sizing, press the Esc key.

 

Press ENTER to finish changing the window size.

 

Resizing the flowsheet window :

The flowsheet window can be resized using the mouse. Clicking the Restore Button will enable resizing the flowsheet window. The Restore Button is located in the right hand corner of the window as shown in the figure below.
