Show Breakpoints (View menu)

During execution of the flowsheet, units may be colored based on their solved status or breakpoint status. Use this command to switch between the two by selecting or unselecting this command.

When the Show Breakpoints option is selected, unit operation colors are set based on whether the unit has a breakpoint or not. If a unit is set as a breakpoint, the execution stops whenever the flowsheet calculation reaches that unit in its calculation sequence. To set or delete breakpoints see Breakpoints command under the View menu.

When Show Breakpoints is unselected, unit operation colors are set based on the solved status of the unit. During calculation, the colors of the units in the flowsheet change depending on whether the unit solved or not as the calculation progresses.

This option is only available when the flowsheet data are complete as indicated by the absence of red buttons and red unit or steam labels.
