Phase Envelope Main Window

This window is used to select the streams for the phase envelope calculations. You must select at least one stream and can have a maximum of five streams for each phase envelope module. You may additionally select the option to generate curves of constant liquid mole fraction. For more details see Phase Envelope - Technical Information.

Stream Table

Select the desired streams whose phase diagrams are required. The drop-down list boxes contain all the streams that are currently present in the flowsheet.

Alternatively, you may generate a constant liquid mole fraction curve by entering the desired value of the Liquid Mole Fraction. Note that duplicate entries are not allowed, unless different liquid mole fractions are specified for the duplicate streams.

Plot Options Button

You can plot the phase envelope for all or selected streams using the Plot Options Window which is displayed when this button is pushed. You may choose to print individual plots for each stream, a combined comparison plot, or both. PRO/II produces no plots by default.
