Available Data Plots

PRO/II allows you to generate and display graphical plots for the following results:

Columns

$image\KEY01.gif$ Column flowrates and temperatures.

Temperatures and internal stream flowrates can be selected to be plotted against tray number.

Plot of selected component composition against tray number.

$image\KEY01.gif$ Column Separation factor.

Plot of selected light and heavy component separation factor against tray number.

Heat Exchangers

Zone analysis plot

Zone analysis is performed to determine internal pinches and phase changes in a heat exchanger. The plot option must have been selected under "Print Options" in the desired heat exchanger unit.

Heating/Cooling Curves

All the selected streams and unit operation curves in a heating/cooling curve module can be plotted. See Heating/Cooling Curves for more details.

Phase Envelope

All the plots selected in a phase envelope module will be printed. See Phase Envelope for more details.

Streams

For assay streams, you can plot the original distillation data, the fitted TBP curve, and the component cuts. This plot is available at data input time.

To generate a plot select Output\Generate Plot command.
