PFD Toolbar
The toolbar is displayed across the top of the Main Window, below the menu bar and above the draw area, to give quick access to some of the data entry windows and operations that can be performed on objects in the draw area.
Push To
Show or hide the Unit
Operation Palette (PFD Palette).
Enter the Problem Descriptive
Information for the current simulation.
Enter the Default Units
of Measure for the Input Data for the current simulation.
Enter the Component

Enter Case Study Data.
Select a calculation
sequence method. The method can be a built-in algorithm or be explicitly
defined by you.
Specify the recycle
data and acceleration methods to be applied for all the recycle loops
in the simulation, or to specify the methods separately for each individual
loop.
Displays the Find and
Rename Units Window from which you can select or rename a unit operation
in the flowsheet.
Displays the Find and
Rename Streams Window from which you can select or rename a stream in
the flowsheet.
Perform an Adiabatic
Flash calculation on the selected Stream.
Generate tables and
plots of K-values and fugacity coefficients against liquid and vapor composition
at the specified temperature and pressure for the selected stream.
Display the Tag Modification
window where you may add new tag data, or find, modify, and delete existing
tag data.
Run the flowsheet simulation.
Stop the flowsheet
simulation.
View the simulation
results.

a completed simulation.
Delete the selected
objects in the draw area. This button is available only when a selection
is made in the draw area.
Zoom the flowsheet
in or out by using the buttons.
View the entire flowsheet
in the window.
Select a region in
the draw area that will fill the entire view area by zooming in.
Redraw the flowsheet
drawing to remove any extraneous objects in the draw area.
Enter the What is?
