Most Commonly Used Calculation Methods

These methods may be used for a wide variety of simulations, although no method is optimal for every application. The methods listed here are grouped by industry. The name for each system is derived from the Equilibrium K-value method. The table lists the methods used (by default) for five basic properties.

Descriptions of the individual thermodynamic methods may be accessed from the Thermodynamic System - Modification Window by selecting the type of property, i.e., K-value, liquid enthalpy, etc., the method and pushing the Help button.
