Data Regression - Using TDM

Use this window to perform data regression using TDM.

Usage

TDM Regress feature can be launched in two ways:

1. Launch TDM $image\ebx_1071721623.gif$ from the PRO/II Toolbar and in TDM, go to Options menu in the toolbar and choose "Change to Regress mode" from "Mode" menu.

2. From the Input Menu choose the Regress using TDM... option from "Regress" menu. TDM would be launched in the Regress mode.

Data Transfer from PRO/II to TDM

PRO/II Components, Thermo and Raw Regress data if present will be transferred to TDM when launched from the Input Menu.

Using TDM Regress Results in PRO/II Calculations

Use the "Send to Databank" option to store results in a databank, which can be subsequently used in PRO/II. Make the necessary databank changes such as adding or removing from the available databanks or altering the current search order in PRO/II to view the regress results.

Additional Information

The "Send to Databank" option would create a unary or binary databank depending upon the type of data specified by the user. The Regress data from the new databank can be used in the simulation by making appropriate changes in the databank search order.

The Regress results cannot be transferred back from TDM to PRO/II. Results can be accessed only through databank.
