Access
Use the Copy command on the File menu, or use the keyboard shortcut Alt +FI, CO to open this dialog window.
Description
Use this dialog window to copy the files of one simulation problem (source) to another problem (target). All the files associated with the source problem - one flowsheet and three database files - are copied to the target. The target should have a different name, or be located in a different directory, than the source files.
If the specified target problem exists already, the contents of its associated files are replaced by the contents of the source files. If the target does not exist, a new set of files is created and the source problem files are copied to them.
Usage
Select the Copy command from the File menu to display the "Select Simulation File to Copy" dialog box. You must select the source problem's .pr1 file from the list of files. If needed, the Look In: field and the associated folder buttons allow you to navigate to the correct drive and directory.
Once the source file name displays in the File name: field, the "Copy <source file> To?" dialog box will appear. You then enter a name for the target file, and select the drive and the target directory; where the files will be stored.
Note that if a file with the same name as the target already exists in the target directory, a prompt asks whether or not the existing target files can be replaced. You may choose to overwrite the files or enter a new target name.
