Compressor Aftercooler
The optional aftercooler is a simple heat exchanger model that can be used to adjust the temperature and pressure of the product streams to satisfy specified final conditions. The product stream is cooled to the specified conditions and flashed to determine the phases. The aftercooler is calculated after the compressor unit, and it uses the final outlet conditions of the compressor as its inlet conditions.
