BATCHFRAC Reaction Selection

Usage

This window is opened from the BATCHFRAC - Policy Segment Window by pushing the Reactions button.

Reactions are not supported for the first policy & any Total Reflux type policy.

Check the Supply Reactions option check box in Reactions DEW in order to select reactions. This makes the rest of the window available. The reaction sets selected will be applied to all subsequent policies. When subsequent policy Reactions DEW is opened, all the inherited reaction sets will be displayed in disabled state. User can overwrite the reaction sets selection by checking the reactions check box and modify the selection. Once user overwrites the reaction sets, the current set will be applied to all subsequent policies.

Reactions to be Used

All existing Reaction Sets from Reaction Data will be available for selection in the column. Reaction sets are defined in the Reaction Data Sets Window. Reaction sets with UAS kinetics are not supported.

Reaction Set Assignment to Tray

You must specify which reaction set will be used on which trays in the column. The Column Reaction Set list box contains all available set names. Select the required set and then enter the Starting and Ending Trays. You may assign a reaction set to any number of trays but any tray may be assigned with a single reaction set.
