This window is used to specify the recycle streams which must be accelerated for convergence calculations. By default all tear streams are accelerated by PRO/II. See Acceleration Methods for different acceleration methods available in PRO/II.
Usage
From the Main Window, push the button to display the Problem Recycle Convergence and Acceleration Options Window. From this window select the desired acceleration method and push the Accelerated Streams button to display this window.
You may choose to accelerate either all the tear streams or only selected tear streams by selecting the appropriate option.
If you want to specify the streams to be accelerated, select the desired streams from the All Streams list and add them to the Accelerated Streams list using the Copy button. Note that the "All Streams" list contains all the streams in the flowsheet and not just the tear streams.
Similarly, you can remove streams from the "Accelerated Streams" list using the Remove button. This operation cancels the acceleration option for the selected streams.
